The other day I was cleaning up the stream, and I saw a good metaphor for where I am at presently.

At the left on the bank of the stream was a small patch of stagnant water.  The pool was surrounded by a few big rocks, and a tiny bit of stream was flowing through, but not much was moving because in between the rocks there were some rubbish and leaves blocking the flow.

I knelt down and removed the rubbish, and removed the leaves, and the water became murky.

A few moments later the water cleared up, and flow was flowing.

My life feels a bit like that stream.  I have been chipping away at the clutter and debris, and I am definitely beginning to feel the benefits.
